What it’s Like to Work With Me

You may have heard me saying that you can book me for a day to set up your Searchie Hub. But you may be wondering how that happens and what it involves. Let me walk you through the experience of working with me to get your business up and running on Searchie in no time flat.

Start with a Free Consult

Our relationship together begins when you set up a free consultation call with me using my online calendar. This first call will help me get to know you and your goals for Searchie.

During or after our consultation call, the ball is in your court regarding whether you’re ready to book me for a day. I won’t hound you incessantly or make you feel obligated—only you can make the decision.

Once you’ve made the wise decision to have me create your Searchie Hub, we’ll select a date that is available and begin our preparations!

All the Deets

Once we’ve booked our date, I will send you information needed for your day. This includes information about my templates that we can use to build your Searchie Hub. There are examples for you to see so you can get some ideas. I prefer to use LastPass, a password management system that allows me to work within your platform without knowing your passwords. So, I will provide you with some information about that and how to share LastPass with me. If you prefer to share in another way, I can work with that. I’ll ask you if you have any brand guidelines you’d like me to follow. I want your Hub to reflect your brand and feel like you!

Last, but not least, I share information about creating a sitemap. This is probably the most critical detail. I will study your responses to the questions I send you about your sitemap and ask you for any additional information or materials that we’ll need. I will make suggestions about how to best design your Searchie Hub.

At this point, I’m developing the game plan for your Hub and I want to make sure we’re on the same page.

Your Booked Day!

Oh, happy day—your Searchie Hub will come to life today! I get down to work.

I create your Hub, making sure that the design is consistent with your branding. I add things like a landing page, placeholders for your playlists, effective and beautiful thumbnails, search bars, links to other resources (like your private Facebook group, for example). If you have a paid course, I integrate the Hub with Stripe. I can add password-protected access to all or part of your Hub, allowing you to charge for access to all or part of your content.

After initial work is done, we’ll have a Zoom call where I show you your Hub and you can request changes. This check-in is the most important because it allows me to hear from you what you like and don’t and whether I’m on track with the design and development you had in mind. I’m all about honesty and I’d love to hear all the feedback you have to give!

At the end of the day, we’ll have a check-in and I’ll show you around your new Hub. At this point, you are ready to launch, use, and maintain your Hub!

The Next Phase of Our Relationship

So, do we just go our separate ways after your glorious booked day with me? Oftentimes, yes—many of my clients find it easy to use their Hubs from that day forward, even if they need to make changes to it. Searchie is really easy, once you get used to it!

For clients that require some additional or ongoing support—such as entrepreneurs who plan to create more Hubs or create new courses within their Hub down the road—I can provide support on a daily or hourly basis.

No matter what, we’ll stay connected because I want to follow your Searchie success!
